Six outstanding scholars supported by USAID and currently enrolled in the Master’s Program “Strategic Management of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency” at Kazakh-German University (DKU), embarked on a Renewable Energy Trip in 2023.

During the week of August 21st to 27th, this educational trip has afforded scholars the opportunity to travel through the diverse landscapes in both northern and southern Kazakhstan. The trip was organized with the aim of visiting sites with renewable energy sources. Immersive experiences such as this provide emerging professionals with invaluable insights into the workings of solar, wind, hydroelectric power plants, and even thermal facilities. By delving into the technical intricacies and innovative technologies, scholars can explore exciting challenges and solutions, and gather information for their master’s dissertations, research projects, and scientific endeavors related to the forefront of renewable energy utilization.
