Umud Mahmudovich Mamadaminov has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan.
Umud Mamadaminov was born on January 24, 1983, in the Jambay District of the Samarkand Region. He graduated from the Tashkent State Technical University in 2006 with a degree in industrial electronics engineering and from the Oregon Institute of Technology in the USA in 2015 with a focus on renewable energy sources.
From 2015 to 2018, he worked at the major US engineering consulting company STANTEC. After an administrative reform, he served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture starting from February 2023.
