The USAID Power Central Asia Activity supports the five Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to implement energy sector reforms and achieve their clean energy goals, promoting integration of renewable energy generation, improving energy efficiency, and advancing the regional electricity market to allow for smooth cross-border and regional power trade. Taken together, these activities improve energy system resiliency and promote economic growth and social development in Central Asia.
