This Investor Guide to Renewable Energy Projects in Kazakhstan was developed at the request of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as part of the Power Central Asia Project implemented by Tetra Tech. This document is a step-by-step guide for investors planning to implement renewable energy sources (RES) projects in Kazakhstan, and includes information on measures of state support for the development of RES and the rules for conducting auctions, as well as an overview of the main regulations governing the procedures for preparation, approval, approval and implementation of renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan.
