On 21 November 2024, in Dushanbe, a memorandum was signed between Pamir Energy and USAID on the construction of an additional solar plant in the centre of Murghab district of GBAO with a capacity of 400kW, according to the Central Asia Energy Project.
The purpose of construction of the new station is to improve power supply to the centre of Murghab district and Kunagurgan village.
