Did you know that turning off lights when not in use can save you up to 15% on your electricity bill? More useful energy-saving opportunities were discussed in Astana today at the V International Forum for Energy Saving in Astana.
The forum successfully brought together nearly 200 participants, and more than 50 individuals actively engaged in a panel focused on Renewable Energy, led by the experts from USAID’s flagship energy activity – the Power Central Asia.
During the panel, the team facilitated a session on the progress of small-scale renewable energy sources in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the crucial path toward a green future. Additionally, they shared valuable insights from the demand response program pilot and rooftop solar systems work in the region.
Daulet Akhmetov, an expert from the Power Central Asia, was awarded an honorable diploma for his significant contributions to the development of the energy sector. This recognition was signed by the Minister of Industry and Construction.
