Sungat Esimkhanov has been appointed as the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was born in 1973 in the Pavlodar region. He graduated from Pavlodar Industrial Institute and the Karaganda Institute of Continuing Education “Bolashak.”
In 2020-2021, he served as the First Deputy Akim (Governor) of the Pavlodar region, and from 2021-2022, Mr. Esimkhanov held the position of Chairman of the Board of JSC “Samruk-Energo.” Since 2022, he has been serving as the Chairman of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control at the Ministry of Energy.
