USAID alongside other partners was happy to support the annual renewable energy conference, attracting over 100 guests from across Central Asia! The conference focused on expanding renewable energy opportunities in Central Asia through a synergy of technical discussions, scientific publications, and interventions from global experts.
“We all know that Tajikistan is a leader in clean energy, with over 90% of its energy coming from hydro sources,” the Acting Deputy Mission Director, Agathe Sector highlighted. “However, to meet economic growth targets, diversifying into wind and solar energy is essential.”
